Areas We Cover
Boiler installs, servicing and repairs within about 20 miles of Colchester, and further across Essex and Suffolk for commercial work. Get a price for a new boiler online, or ring if you’re not sure you’re in range.
Our patch
Where we actually go.
We work from Ardleigh, four miles outside Colchester, which puts us in the middle of the area we cover rather than at the edge of it. For homes and rental properties that means roughly twenty miles of Colchester — across north and mid Essex, and over the border into south Suffolk.
Commercial cover runs wider — across Essex and up into Suffolk, Ipswich and Felixstowe included. Sites in more than one town sit on a single schedule.
The towns below have their own pages with local detail on them. If yours is not listed, it does not mean we do not come — it means we have not written the page yet. Ring and ask.
Common questions
Whether we cover you.
How do I know if I am in range?
If you are within about twenty miles of Colchester, almost certainly yes. If you are further out, ring and ask rather than assume — we travel further for oil, for commercial work, and for existing customers who have moved.
Do you charge extra for travel?
No. The price is the price wherever you are in our patch. If a job were far enough out that travel genuinely changed the cost, we would tell you before booking rather than add it afterwards.
Do you cover Suffolk as well as Essex?
Yes. South Suffolk is part of our domestic patch, and commercial work takes us further up into the county — Ipswich and Felixstowe particularly.
Is my village too small?
No. A lot of our work is in villages, and the rural properties are often the ones that struggle to find someone — particularly on oil, where you need an OFTEC registered engineer rather than just a gas one.
How quickly can you get to me?
It depends where you are. Close to Ardleigh we can often be with you the same day; at the edge of the patch it is more likely the next working day. Emergencies come before routine work wherever you are.
