What areas do you cover?

Around twenty miles of Colchester for homes and rental properties, from our base at Ardleigh — across Essex and into south Suffolk. Commercial work takes us further. If you are not sure whether you are in range, ring and ask rather than assume you are not.

What are your opening hours?

Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm for bookings and enquiries. Emergency call-outs run 24/7 on the same number, including weekends and bank holidays, at a different rate we will confirm before coming out.

How quickly will you reply to an enquiry?

Within a couple of hours during working hours. If it is urgent, call rather than fill in a form — you will get a person, not a queue.

What happens after I book online?

You get a confirmation, and a two-hour arrival window on the day. Our system sends a tracking link by text when the engineer is on the way, so you are not sitting in waiting for an entire morning.

Can I just call and talk it through?

Yes, and often that is quicker. You will get someone who does the work rather than a call handler reading from a script, and we would rather point you the right way than have you book the wrong job.

Do you charge for advice over the phone?

No. If we can tell you over the phone that you do not need us, we will.

Gavin has been servicing my gas boiler since he had to replace it's 38 year old predecessor, after I called him out to attempt to get it working. I now have to protect the 10 year warranty with an annual service including a filter change. Gavin offers a very reliable service, with a reminder and invitation to book a time slot to maintain the service history.
