Commercial Warm Air Heaters
Installation, servicing and repair of gas warm air units and radiant tube heaters for warehouses, workshops and industrial units across Essex and Suffolk.
Why warm air
Right for a big space, wrong for a small one.
Heating a warehouse with radiators is a way of spending a great deal of money warming a roof. Warm air units and radiant tube heaters exist because large, high-ceilinged, draughty spaces behave nothing like an office — they need heat delivered where people actually are, quickly, and without a wet system running through a building nobody wants to drill.
Radiant tube heaters warm surfaces and people rather than the air itself, which suits workshops where doors are constantly open. Warm air units suit spaces that need to come up to temperature fast at the start of a shift. Which is right depends on how the building is used, not on which is newer.
What we do
Units, tubes and controls.
- Gas warm air unit installation and replacement
- Radiant tube heater installation and replacement
- Annual servicing and gas safety inspection
- Breakdown repairs and fault diagnosis
- Flue and ventilation work
- Controls, zoning and time scheduling
- Planned maintenance across multi-unit sites
How it works
Surveyed against how the space is used.
We look at the building, how it is occupied and what it is used for. A unit specified against floor area alone will be wrong for a workshop with the shutter door open half the day, and that mistake is expensive to run for the next fifteen years.
You get a written specification and fixed price. Installation is planned around production or trading, and the same team services the units afterwards.

Common questions
What people ask about warm Air Heaters.
Radiant tube or warm air — which do we need?
Broadly: radiant tubes suit spaces with big doors opening and closing, because they heat people and surfaces rather than air that is about to escape. Warm air units suit enclosed spaces that need to reach temperature quickly. Most sites we look at have a clear answer once you see how the space is actually used.
How often do they need servicing?
Annually as a minimum, and units in dusty industrial environments benefit from more. They are gas appliances, so they also need certifying like any other.
Can you repair units you did not install?
Yes, and usually that is the case. If a unit is beyond economic repair we will say so plainly rather than keep charging you to nurse it along.
Will installation stop production?
It should not have to. We plan the work around shifts, shutdowns or quiet periods, and on multi-unit sites we can do it in stages so the space never loses heat entirely.
Are they expensive to run?
Cheaper than heating the same space badly with the wrong system, which is what they usually replace. Efficiency depends far more on correct specification and controls than on the unit itself, which is the argument for surveying properly.
